We haven’t had any snow to speak of as yet in Nova Scotia but, as you can see in the gallery below, there has been some at both Flin Flon and Flathead County golf clubs. With a bit of shovelling and sweeping they will both be playable, though, so hopefully by around midnight tonight GMT (Christmas Eve) the greens, fairways and tees will be sufficiently clear to enjoy some winter golf. You’ll be able to find these courses in the Official list once they are open for play.

To celebrate the holidays we have organised a couple of timed tournaments for you. At Flathead County Golf Club we are holding the TGC Christmas Open, which is 4 rounds of handicap golf open to all members. Also, there is the Christmas One Hole Challenge – a single par 3 at The Taiga course open to all and handicap free. Both tournaments close at the end of Boxing Day (26th) GMT and the results will be posted soon after.

Come and join us on the course. Despite the snow it is still suitable for short sleeves.
