TGC CHRISTMAS OPEN RESULT
The Winter Flin Flon Golf Club course provided a fantastic setting for the TGC Christmas Open, a four round, timed tournament open to all members for four days over the festive period. Scoring used the handicap system and really levelled the playing field.

Congratulations to wbraz_86utd who came in at 11 under to win. Only five players managed a sub par score for the tournament so -11 is no mean feat. As you can see in the following table, consistency was their calling card with four rounds showing very similar numbers and no aces, hole outs or crazy long putts. There were ten aces over the course of the tournament and the only par 3 to be spared was the extremely tough 17th.

TGC PS4 member fiber holed out from almost 200 yards with a four iron on the par 4 6th hole for an eagle and the bragging rights to longest hole out for the tournament. Close behind was Pompeii Ted, who did the same thing on the par 4 18th. Coming in over the top of that green side bunker to hole out is pretty impressive, demonstrating how they managed to finish 7th on the leaderboard.

With nine of the ten longest drives happening on the par 5 13th hole it was interesting that the par 4 15th actually provided comfortably the longest.
