Hi Everyone,

I hope you American’s enjoyed your fireworks over the last weekend.

Friday was very quiet, with half the team making a long weekend of the Canada day celebrations and no Americans at work either. It meant that I had a day in the office to mainly just play the game. It was the type of day that people outside the games industry think I actually do for a living, playing games all day I managed to get about 10 rounds in on TGC uninterrupted. It was bliss!

Monday we submitted the console builds of the July update with all the excitement of 12ft birdie putts and missed 3 footers a long distance memory, as work turned back into the paperwork, compilers and emails that accompany submissions. We’re hoping to push these builds in the next 4 or 5 days, all depending on when they’re passed by the cert teams.

The Highlands theme has already created some real classic courses, so I can’t wait to see what you console guys can create with it. Jim gets more out of the game with every theme he creates and improves.

NVidia released new drivers yesterday that improved stability of the 64bit version of the game on their cards but it still isn’t perfect. We do know that the 32bit version isn’t having these issues though, so to reduce noise on Steam we’ve defaulted to that for the time being. This is changeable in the properties of the game in Steam though, if you’d prefer to continue to play the 64bit version.

Lastly over the last week I’ve been looking at the Favourite Music thread in the Off Topic forum. Some of you guys have great tastes others not so much Anyway I thought I’d share my Top 10 albums in descending order with you – spoti.fi/1Hm57gh – enjoy!
