After last week’s short week the team were back in the office refreshed and we managed to get a good bit knocked off our list.
After weeks of talking to Nvidia they are confident they’ve tracked down the issue with the drivers that was crashing the game. They released those last night and all seems to be working. So my advice to all you PC owners with Nvidia cards is get the latest drivers, get the 64bit build of the game and you should not be getting any issues anymore. Fingers Crossed
Bryan and myself are continuing to work through some multiplayer onboarding. It’s a decent size task so I doubt it’ll make it into the September update.
Talking of the September update, the rest of the team are working on this, it’s got some nice improvements and bug fixes. The season mode bug on Xbox is fixed and will be in it. Paul has improved the UI for brush selection in the Greg Norman course creator. We’ve also added Mulch and Pine needles to the surfaces, you can see all this in Keith’s Twitch stream this week, below . There will also be a new theme, which we’re temporarily calling Swiss, which is an enhanced version of Alpine. It looks amazing, I have to say! I’ll get a screen shot up in next weeks Dev Diary. On top of that we have all the swings now working the same across all platforms. I’m hoping to have this in to the cert teams in the next week and hopefully we’ll get a quick turn around and get it out pretty soon after that.
